My project started with experimenting with connecting LED lights to homemade buttons, trying out different sensors, and playing with materials like fiberglass and conductive foam. By using these materials in my handmade rug, I named the project “Bedraden Draden” (Wired Threads). The rug, made with light blue, dark blue, and black wool and carefully trimmed, represents the deep sea in the mysterious night. The texture adds a unique touch to the experience. When you touch the rug, something special happens, inspired by the gentle glow of sea sparkles. Just like these sparkles light up when disturbed in the water, this rug reacts to your touch. Feel the rug and experience the enchantment as light follows your movements, like the dance of sea sparkles in the nightly sea. I take pride in this work. It’s not just a lit-up rug; it’s a creative expression offering a full sensory experience. It invites admiration, reflection, and a moment of calm in the midst of daily chaos
